Interface
GER 1995, directed by Harun Farocki, 25 min, rated: 12
In his essayistic film ‘Interface’, Harun Farocki reflects on his own documentary work, and investigates the question of what it means to work with images that already exist instead of always producing new ones. He is also particularly interested in the interface between man and machine, and how this connection is used in various contexts – such as in medical diagnostics, military operations and computer graphics.
