Dietrich Neumann, architecture and film historian (Filmarchitektur – Von Metropolis bis Blade Runner, 1996; Leuchtende Bauten: Architektur der Nacht, 2006), talks to set designer Uli Hanisch (The International, 2009, Babylon Berlin, since 2017) about fascinating urban images in 1920s films and their re-staging.


Conversation with Dietrich Neumann (Professor of Art History and Architecture) and Uli Hanisch (set designer of Babylon Berlin, among others).
