Berlin. Symphony of a Great City

Berlin – a city that (almost) never sleeps, where opposing factions clash and revelry is more common than strolling. Almost a hundred years ago, Walther Ruttmann created this kaleidoscopic, rhythmically assembled portrait of ‘Babylon Berlin’. The camera movements and editing are turned into the film’s drifting protagonists.
